Halfords Cycle2work shortlisted for Reward’s Very Important Benefit awards 2016

We're delighted that our unique National Minimum and Living Wage solution has been shortlisted for Reward’s Very Important Benefit awards 2016 (VIBs).
Our unique National Minimum and Living Wage solution has been shortlisted for Reward’s Very Important Benefit awards 2016. The VIBs are dedicated to championing the reward strategies of organisations of all sizes and sectors, and their providers.
As a salary sacrifice benefit we realised that whole groups of employees were effectively being excluded from making savings on cycling to work. Those on minimum wage cannot salary sacrifice as it would take them below the legal minimum. The standard 12 month hire period may be inappropriate for individuals on probation, trial or short term contracts as they didn’t know if they would be around for the whole period and employers were concerned about recovering the cost of their purchases.
At Halfords Cycle2work we have a unique solution, alongside our standard salary sacrifice offer, which allows all employees access to a bike. This is exclusive in the cycle to work market and we are the only provider who can give all employees the opportunity to save on transport costs and make their salary go further, and who can ensure employers remain compliant with HMRC guidance.
We’re delighted that our market-leading offer has been recognised by the judging panel and are looking forward to finding out the final result in July.
